New pictures: Leo's 16th week

"Look at the camera!"
This past week was one of two halves - the first was getting as many moments with the little guy before Tea went back to work full-time, I went back to working full-time on my research and Leo was handed off to Ms Cheryl. As you can see, we had a lot of good times, some of which were pretty goofy :)

The gang back together over brunch
Leo was the best little baby too, charming everyone at the Saturday brunch, and then falling asleep just as our food arrived! Generally we took the weekend to relax and prepare for the week ahead, when the nanny-share would start at our place, so I decided to celebrate Sunday morning by spending an hour-and-a-half cleaning the fridge so that it's presentable to the guests :) On Sunday evening Ruti came over to keep Tea company at home, while I went with Luis to see the ultimate guys' movie of the summer, Hangover II.

"Tata, this salad looks yummy!"
Then the week began, Tea went to work, I went to study in Caribou Coffee... and you know what? The world did not end! Sure, we don't get to spend as much time as we did (and would like to) with our favorite little man, but it's very comforting for us to know he's in Cheryl's capable hands, and his huge smile and laughter every time we pick him up at 6pm is a testimony to the fact that he's being treated very well! Plus, this way we get to enjoy every moment with spend with the little guy!

"I'm the king of the world!"
P.S. It was a great week, but if there was one thing we could put on top of the wishlist for next week it would be lower temperatures during the day - on Wednesday and Thursday it was over 35C, so Leo had to stay home both days! Ultimately it's better than going outside, just a little bit boring...
